आज सुबह 8:30 बजे दिल्ली के शिक्षा मंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया ने SKV रानी चेन्नमा स्कूल, डी ब्लाक जहांगीर पूरी का दौरा किया। स्कूल में अनियमितता पाने के बाद स्कूल की प्रिंसिपल श्रीमती सविता जैन को तुरंत प्रभाव से हटाने के आदेश दिए

I visited the schools this morning. It was very poorly maintained and extremely dirty. N/2
I was disturbed and disappointed to see that there were gutka and paan stains on the classroom walls and stairs.N/3
Students told me that their desks are never cleaned and they have to dust their desks on their own every day. N/4
On being questioned Principal said, “मुझे पता नहीं मुझे इतने गंदे स्कूल में क्यों डाल दिया है...मैं यहां नहीं रहना चाहती।“ N/5
A principal who cannot take responsibility for ensuring that the children under her care, get to study in a clean environment, does not deserve to remain in that position. N/6
I visited five Delhi Government Schools today, 4 schools were clean, well maintained and were holding the Summer Camp & Remedial classes very well. N/7
On the contrary, the ambience of school in Azadpur village was not only clean and very well maintained, but also extremely welcoming. N/8
There was enthusiasm and energy in the Teachers & Guest Teachers who were taking the Summer Camp session. N/9
The music session being taken for the Summer Camp in the Boys school was heart-warming and all children looked happy and engaged. N/10
I have issued special appreciation letters to congratulate the Principals of these schools.
