AICPI For July-2014 Released by Labour Bureau on 29/08/2014

Rate of DA are calculated on the basis of the All India Consumer Price Index(IW) (Base 2001=100). All India Consumer Price Index for industrial workers for the month of  JULY released by the  Labour Bureau  Government of India on 29/08/2014 is 252. DA w.e.f. 01/01/2015 will be calculated on basis of All India Consumer Price Index (IW) from Jan, 2014 to Dec., 2014. AICPI is now available upto July., 2014. We need AICPI for Aug. 2014 to Dec. 2014 to calculate the DA w.e.f 01/01/2015,

Formula for calculating the DA Rates as follow :

Dearness Allowance = (Avg of AICPI for the past 12 months) - 115.76)*100/115.76
