Please refer to Office Memorandum No.
F.20/19/2013/AC/Usfa/305-308 dated 22.1.2013 issued by the Special Secretary
(Finance), Finance (Accounts) Department, Govt. of NCT of Delhi regarding
payment of Traveling Allowance to the employees of Delhi Govt./Central
Govt./Autonomous Bodies etc. Accordingly all the HOOs/DDOs are hereby directed
to submit their demand for payment of Traveling Allowance to the employees
deputed on Delhi Assembly Election-2013. The payment of TA is subject to the
condition that the journey shall be verified by the concerned RO/ARO or the
officer deputed for this purpose. The demand should be based on the TA rules
applicable to them. So that Budget Branch can consolidate the total demand
under DTE head and send a proposal to the Finance (Budget) Department to
provide the funds for the said purpose.
The last date of submission of TA demanded DTE head is
20-12-2013. After this date no demand will be entertained and responsibility of
NON-PAYMENT of TA of ELECTION DUTY will lie on the part of the concerned
